The Portuguese Racing Pigeon Federation (FPC) will once again organise this year’s International Racing Pigeon Championships in Mira. To launch this event, which is one of the most important moments of the national and international sporting season and is recognised as the great celebration of pigeon racing, the FPC created a new website and renewed the image, with emphasis on updating the logo.

The FPC is constantly keeping up to date, year after year, seeking to meet the expectations of all those who enjoy this sport, while at the same time making it more appealing to the general public.

The new site is now available at http://mira.fpcolumbofilia.pt and contains a range of information about the International Racing Pigeon Championships – Mira 2023: race regulations, a section with entry forms, classifications, training calendar and news. With a strong multimedia focus and easy access, this space will also be a privileged platform for reservations for meals and accommodation.

The Mira 2023 International Racing Pigeon Championships have the support of the Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth, the Mira Municipal Council and various sponsors. The final race is already set for 23 September, a date for which the FPC is preparing a great moment of social gathering and celebration.

April 1st, chosen to put the site into operation and present the new image, coincides with the start of the pigeon receiving phase, the first moment of the Championships, which will last until May 31st. The Gaspar Vila Nova racecourse has been cleaned and disinfected and is in perfect condition to receive the pigeons. Send in yours!
